Ballet sign ups are next week. Emma is getting excited. She is starting to practice her arabesques throughout the house. It was a tough call between soccer and dance, but in the end, the lure of fancy-nancy costumes and ballerina poses won out.
..As well as pirouettes and plies, Ballerinas like to hold baby sisters...

Evening with Friends
These are our two good friends, Sarah and Kent.
Like us, they have two children: a daughter, Freya, who is nearly three and a new baby boy (2 months senior to Lily) named Rowan. Rowan as you can see is a good double the size of poor Lily.
Sid in life with a newborn, appears to have it together.
When in actually I know he is a bit haggard (aka punchy).
But all in all, in good spirits.
Me, I'm just happy I have such good friends around!

Outing to Fairy Lake
Today we drove out to a beautiful little spot at the base of Sacajawea Peak in the Northern Bridgers: Fairy Lake. With an easy .5 mile walk down to the shore, it is a great place to go for early outings with wee ones and older kids who really don't like to hike that much...
Emma met a nice friend, named Ariel, who loved to capture bugs. Just like Emma! Though the lake was chilly, Ariel coaxed Emma out onto her inner-tube. Emma lasted about 5 minutes...It is nice b/c the shoreline waters are shallow, never above your knee. Great for an almost 4 year old and 5 1/2 year old to get out and play!
Lily liked it too. Her willingness/ability to sleep through almost the entire outing indicates to us that she loves the fresh mountain air and can't wait for more.

It is hard being Big Sis
These are cute pictures of Emma holding Baby Lily. She loves to hold her, but we had had a big day out at the lake and I think she is secretly tired! That or she is developing the famous Sid Williamson photo eye droop. :-)

The Girls at Sweet Pea
Sweet Pea is celebrated best with friends. Here are some pictures of Emma and her friends enjoying the festivities.
Roberts Family Visit
My parents came to visit us this last week. Their visit overlapped with the Annual Sweet Pea Festival, which includes a kid's run and parade.
Sid and Emma did the run, while Mom, Dad, Lily and I staked out best-spots for parade watching.
Super fun. Here are some pictures!
We ate out quite a bit. Hurrah for eating out!
